So to all of my readers from Hercules High School we all know that it is Spirit Week! Since Spirit Week is this whole week and it is only Monday, I will try to update so that I have pictures from everyday. Here are the Spirit Days for the week:
Monday- Tie-Dye Day
Tuesday- Triplet Day
Wednesday- Mix-Match Day
Thursday- College Day
Friday- Theme Day
Even though people may think Spirit Week is unnecessary, I think that participation is not only necessary but fun! I hate it when people complain that their class has no spirit and then events, such as Spirit Week, come along and they have no spirit what-so-ever.
Spirit Week at Hercules High School is typically celebrated during a week in mid-October. It starts with, as I mentioned above, five themed spirit days, then ends with a home football game on Friday, and a Homecoming Dance on Saturday night.
As I said before, I will try my best to post pictures from every day on my blog for all of you to see. And though many may think Spirit Week is overrated, it is what you make it. Have fun with it, that's the key!
I agree! I've been hearing how my class has no spirit what-so-ever but I love to dress up anyways. I think it's fun except i didn't participate in college day because I had no college shirt to wear. What's your favorite day?
ReplyDeleteI personally think that we could use a Spirit Week upgrade. The days that are chosen are dull or over-done. I mean, I guess they tried to do something different with Triplet day, but it's really nothing different from Twin day. I think the reason why people don't dress up for Spirit Week is because the themes that are chosen for each day don't interest them.

ReplyDeleteI agree with what Rachel said. The days are dull and there is no initiative to dress up. I don't really know what the school could do to improve spirit. I know that I am some what motivated to dress up, but find my head in another place in the morning.

ReplyDeleteI think you should list the theme for each class for Theme Day. And I do agree with your idea on how people complain but they didn't even show their spirit. Answering Samanta's question, I like Triplet Day. I am looking forward to see you post pictures of Spirit Week! I hope you will post those pictures.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you about how students don't have much spirit and complain about not having spirit. People keep on contradicting themselves all the time. But I do agree with Erinn and Rachel about how the themes for spirit week aren't as interesting. Another possible reason that people don't dress up is they don't have the clothes for those themes.

ReplyDeletePeople definitely need to show more school spirit. A lot of people complain that others do not participate, but they're part of that group. You should post pictures of what you wore during spirit week!
thanks for the spirit week schedual , I like spirit week because it's fun and you can see everyones creative sides. But I never remember to participate :( story of my life !!
